As is well known bricks are purely natural, and this means that the Stonel brickface curtainwall
helps to preserve healthfully safe residential conditions. The burnt bricks, being made of purely
natural materials, do not contain any harmful, evaporative materials that could be released during
construction or from the finished structure.
In the emissions classifications determined for building surface materials by the Finnish Association
of Interior Air Quality, the various materials are categorized into three classes (M1, M2, M3) based
on the total content of evaporative, organic compounds, the emission factors for ammonia,
formaldehyde, and compatibility with comfortable sensation. Under this system of classification,
brick, as a safe, natural product, is included in the best group, M1.
